Need help with Warranty Keeper? Email support@godevcode.com. Include your device model, your iOS version, and the app version shown on the Settings screen. Warranty Keeper is made by one person in their spare time, so a reply is not guaranteed — but every message is read.

What Warranty Keeper does

Warranty Keeper stores your proof of purchase so you can find it when something breaks. Photograph the receipt, enter the purchase date and how long the warranty runs, and the app works out when cover ends and reminds you before it does.

Everything stays on your device. There is no account, no sign-in, and the app makes no network requests.

Frequently asked questions

Where are my receipt photos stored?

Inside the app's own storage on your device. They are never uploaded, and the developer cannot see them. This also means there is no server-side backup — see the question about losing data below.

Will I lose everything if I delete the app?

Yes. Deleting the app removes its container, including every item and every photo, permanently. If your device backup includes the app, restoring that backup restores the data. If your records matter to you, keep a device backup and use the export option.

Why does the app ask for camera access?

So you can photograph a receipt or warranty card directly in the add-item flow. You can decline and still use the app — you just will not be able to attach new images. Permission can be changed any time in Settings → Warranty Keeper.

I did not get a reminder before my warranty expired.

Check that notifications are allowed in Settings → Notifications → Warranty Keeper, and that a Focus mode or Do Not Disturb was not suppressing them. Reminders are scheduled on your device, and iOS decides when they are delivered — delivery is not guaranteed. Do not rely on the app as your only prompt for a claim deadline that matters.

How do I change when I am reminded?

Open Settings and adjust the reminder lead time. Additional intervals are part of the paid unlock.

What happens when a warranty expires?

The item stays in your list marked as expired, so you keep the record. You can turn on auto-archive in Settings to move expired items out of the main list.

How do I restore my purchase on a new device?

Sign in with the same Apple Account you used to buy, open Settings, and choose Restore Purchases. The unlock is tied to your Apple Account, not to a device.

Can I use it on iPad?

Yes. The app runs on iPhone and iPad, and your purchase covers both when they use the same Apple Account.

Reporting a bug

Email support@godevcode.com with what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead. A screenshot and your app version help a great deal.
