Warranty Keeper Privacy Policy
Summary
Warranty Keeper does not collect any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no trackers, and no network requests. Your receipts, photos, and everything you enter stay on your device.
What the app stores, and where
The App stores the following locally on your device only, using Apple's SwiftData framework and your device's own storage:

Please note that receipts and warranty documents often contain personal information — your name, address, the last digits of a payment card, or an order number. The App never transmits these images or any other content anywhere. They are stored in the App's own container on your device, subject to the operating system's protections, and the developer cannot see them.
Camera and photo access
The App asks for permission to use your camera so you can photograph a receipt, and — if you choose to add an existing image — for access to the photo you select. These permissions are used for that purpose only. Images you add are copied into the App's own storage; the App does not read your photo library beyond what you explicitly pick, and it does not upload anything.
You can revoke either permission at any time in Settings → Warranty Keeper on your device. The rest of the App continues to work without them; you simply will not be able to attach new images.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, the App schedules local reminders on your device before a warranty expires. These are generated and delivered by your device. No reminder content is sent to the developer or to any server, and no push notification service is used.
What the app does not do
- It does not collect, transmit, sell, share, or rent personal information.
- It does not contain analytics, crash reporting, advertising, or attribution SDKs.
- It does not use cookies, device identifiers, or the Advertising Identifier (IDFA), and it does not track you across apps or websites.
- It does not request access to your location, contacts, microphone, or health data.
- It does not make network requests. The App works fully offline.
Third parties
The App integrates no third-party SDKs and shares data with no third parties.
If you obtained the App from the Apple App Store, Apple may collect information about your download and purchase under its own privacy policy. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple; the developer never receives your payment details, and receives only the anonymised, aggregated sales reports Apple provides to every developer. That collection is Apple's, not the developer's, and is outside the developer's control.
Children
The App is not directed to children under 13, and the developer does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone. Because the App collects no personal information at all, there is nothing for a parent or guardian to request the deletion of.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in the EU and UK, or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), to access, correct, delete, or port personal data held about you, and to object to its processing.
The developer holds no personal data about you, so there is nothing to access, correct, port, or delete on the developer's side. Everything described above lives solely on your device: you can view and edit it in the App, delete any individual item and its photos, and erase all of it permanently by deleting the App. Deleting the App removes its container, including every stored image.
Because no personal data is collected, the developer does not sell or share personal information, and has never done so.
Data controller and contact
The App is published by an independent individual developer trading as GoDevCode, who is the data controller for the purposes of applicable data protection law to the limited extent any such law applies.

Changes
This policy may be updated, for example if a future version adds a feature that changes what the App stores or transmits — such as optional cloud backup. The current version is always posted at this URL with a "Last updated" date. Material changes affecting what the App collects will be reflected here and in the App's App Store privacy information before that version is released.
