Warranty Keeper ("the App") stores information and images you enter about things you have bought. It is provided for general informational and organizational purposes only.
The App does not provide legal, insurance, consumer-rights, financial, or professional advice of any kind. It has no knowledge of the actual terms of any warranty, guarantee, or protection plan you hold, and it does not read, interpret, or verify the documents you photograph.
The dates it shows are your figures, not a legal position
Expiry dates are calculated from the purchase date and warranty length you enter. They are arithmetic on your input, nothing more.
Real warranty cover depends on the manufacturer's or retailer's actual terms, on statutory rights that vary by country, on registration or proof requirements, and on exclusions the App knows nothing about. Cover may start from delivery rather than purchase, may be voided by misuse, or may run longer than the manufacturer states because of local consumer law. Always check the actual terms and your statutory rights before relying on any date shown here.
Do not rely on it as your only reminder
Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. The operating system decides whether and when they are delivered. Alerts may be delayed, silenced, or not delivered at all — for example in Low Power Mode, when a Focus mode, Silent Mode, or Do Not Disturb is active, when notifications are denied, or if the device is off or out of battery.
If a claim deadline matters, set an independent reminder as well. Missing a warranty window can cost real money, and the App cannot guarantee it will warn you in time.
Your data lives on your device
The App stores everything locally and uploads nothing. There is no account and no server-side backup. If you delete the App, reset your device, or lose it, your records and receipt photos are gone and the developer cannot recover them. Keep a device backup, and use the export option for anything important.
Do not treat the App as your only copy of a document you may need.
