Pomo is a timer, not advice
Pomo ("the App") counts down intervals you choose and records the sessions you complete. It is provided for general informational and organizational purposes only.
The App does not provide medical, health, psychological, psychiatric, educational, or professional advice of any kind. It has no knowledge of your health, your medical or psychological conditions, your medications, your workload, or your circumstances. Nothing it shows is a diagnosis, a treatment, or a recommendation.
Working in timed intervals is a general productivity practice, not a clinical intervention. If you are seeking help with attention, concentration, sleep, anxiety, burnout, or any other health matter, consult a qualified professional. Do not use this App in place of that.
Do not rely on it for anything that matters
The App is not an alarm clock and must not be used as one.
Timers and notifications depend on the operating system, which decides when a backgrounded app may run and whether a notification is delivered. Alerts may be delayed, silenced, or not delivered at all — for example in Low Power Mode, when a Focus mode, Silent Mode, or Do Not Disturb is active, when notifications are denied, or if the device is off, restarting, or out of battery.
Do not use the App as your only reminder for medication, appointments, travel, examinations, work deadlines, cooking, childcare, or anything else where a missed or late alert could cause harm, loss, or inconvenience. Use a dedicated alarm or a second independent reminder for anything important.
Your statistics are approximate
Streaks, totals, and statistics are derived from sessions recorded on your device using its local time and time zone. Changing time zones, adjusting the device clock, restoring a backup, or using the App on more than one device can change how sessions are grouped. Treat the numbers as an approximate reflection of your own activity, not as an exact record.
Your data lives on your device
The App stores everything locally and uploads nothing. There is no account and no server-side backup. If you delete the App, reset your device, or lose it, the data is gone and the developer cannot recover it. If your history matters to you, keep a device backup.
