Pomo Privacy Policy
Summary
Pomo does not collect any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no trackers, and no network requests. Everything you enter stays on your device.
What the app stores, and where
The App stores the following locally on your device only, using Apple's SwiftData framework:
| Data | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Your focus sessions (start time, planned length, whether you completed it, which preset was used) | To show your history, streak, and statistics |
| Your presets (name, work length, break length, order) | To remember the timers you have set up |
| Your settings (sounds, haptics, notifications, appearance) | To remember your preferences |
The App also stores a small counter in the operating system's standard preferences store, used only to decide whether it is an appropriate moment to ask you to rate the App. It contains no personal information.
This data is never transmitted anywhere. It is stored in the App's own container on your device, subject to the operating system's protections.
What the app does not do
- It does not collect, transmit, sell, share, or rent personal information.
- It does not contain analytics, crash reporting, advertising, or attribution SDKs.
- It does not use cookies, device identifiers, or the Advertising Identifier (IDFA), and it does not track you across apps or websites.
- It does not request access to your location, contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or health data.
- It does not make network requests. The App works fully offline.
Third parties
The App integrates no third-party SDKs and shares data with no third parties.
If you obtained the App from the Apple App Store, Apple may collect information about your download, purchase, and subscription under its own privacy policy. Purchases and subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple; the developer never receives your payment details, and receives only the anonymised, aggregated sales and download reports Apple provides to every developer. That collection is Apple's, not the developer's, and is outside the developer's control.
Subscriptions
The App offers an optional auto-renewable subscription. All payment processing, billing, renewal, and cancellation is handled by Apple through your Apple Account. The developer does not receive, store, or have access to your payment method, card details, or billing address. See the Terms of Use for the subscription terms.
Children
The App is not directed to children under 13, and the developer does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone. Because the App collects no personal information at all, there is nothing for a parent or guardian to request the deletion of.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in the EU and UK, or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), to access, correct, delete, or port personal data held about you, and to object to its processing.
The developer holds no personal data about you, so there is nothing to access, correct, port, or delete on the developer's side. The data described above lives solely on your device: you can view it in the App, and you can erase all of it permanently at any time by deleting the App from your device. Deleting the App removes its container, including all sessions, presets, and settings.
Because no personal data is collected, the developer does not sell or share personal information, and has never done so.
Data controller and contact
The App is published by an independent individual developer trading as GoDevCode, who is the data controller for the purposes of applicable data protection law to the limited extent any such law applies.

Changes
This policy may be updated, for example if a future version of the App adds a feature that changes what it stores or transmits. The current version is always posted at this URL with a "Last updated" date. Material changes affecting what the App collects will be reflected here and in the App's App Store privacy information before that version is released.
