LensDay Support

Need help with LensDay? Email support@godevcode.com. Include your device model, your iOS version, and the app version shown at the bottom of the Settings tab. LensDay is made by one person in their spare time, so a reply is not guaranteed — but every message is read.

Support can help with the app: setup, widgets, purchases, bugs. It cannot advise you on lens wear or eye health. Those questions belong to your eye care professional, whose schedule takes precedence over anything LensDay shows — see the Disclaimer.

What LensDay does

LensDay counts down to the replacement date you set for your contact lenses. Pick your lens type, tell it when you opened the current pair, and the countdown runs — on the Today screen, in a widget, and on your Apple Watch. Tap Replaced today when you switch pairs and the next countdown starts.

Everything stays on your device. There is no account, no sign-in, and the app makes no network requests.

Frequently asked questions

Where is my data stored?

On your device, in the app's own storage. Nothing is uploaded, and the developer cannot see it. This also means there is no server-side backup — see the next question.

Will I lose everything if I delete the app?

Yes. Deleting the app removes its container, including every schedule and every completed cycle, permanently. If your device backup includes the app, restoring that backup restores the data.

I did not get a reminder on replacement day.

Check that notifications are allowed in Settings → Notifications → LensDay, and that a Focus mode or Do Not Disturb was not suppressing them. Reminders are scheduled on your device, and iOS decides when they are delivered — delivery is not guaranteed. The app also shows a banner on its Today screen whenever reminders are turned off. Because delivery is out of the app's hands, keep a second prompt if the date matters to you.

How do I get the widget?

Open LensDay and tap Show me how on the widget card, or find Get the Widget in Settings — it walks you through adding it. The Ring style is free; additional styles are part of LensDay Pro.

Can I track a different schedule for each eye?

Yes, with LensDay Pro: turn on Different schedule per eye during setup or later in Settings → Lenses. Each eye then gets its own ring and its own Replaced today button.

I tapped "Replaced today" by mistake.

Tap Undo on the row that appears — it reopens the previous cycle and restores your box count. Undo is available until the end of the day.

What stays free, and what is Pro?

One schedule, one reminder, and the Ring widget are free forever. LensDay Pro adds per-eye schedules, extra trackers (solution, lens case, extra pairs), the other widget styles, history beyond your last 3 cycles, wear insights, and the reorder reminder. If Pro lapses, your countdown and reminder keep working and everything you recorded stays visible.

How do I restore my purchase on a new device?

Sign in with the same Apple Account you used to buy, open the Settings tab, and choose Restore Purchases. Pro — whether a subscription or the lifetime unlock — is tied to your Apple Account, not to a device.

Can I use it on iPad and Apple Watch?

Yes. The app runs on iPhone and iPad, and the watch app shows your countdown and lets you mark a pair replaced from your wrist. One purchase covers all your devices on the same Apple Account.

Email support@godevcode.com with what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead. A screenshot and your app version help a great deal.
